How is the value curve and how should I use it?
What is the Value Curve in FYERS?
The Value Curve shows how your portfolio value changes over time for a selected financial year.
It visualises the movement of Equity, Mutual Funds, and Cash Balance as separate buckets, helping you understand how each component contributed to your overall portfolio trend.
You can switch between buckets, choose a financial year, and overlay a benchmark index for comparison.
How each Value Curve is calculated?
Equity
Represents the end-of-day value of your stocks and ETFs based on the daily closing price.
It reflects how your equity holdings moved on each day within the selected period.
Mutual Funds
Shows the value of your mutual fund holdings based on daily NAV.
Since NAV updates once a day, the MF curve also updates accordingly.
Cash Balance
Displays the opening cash balance for each day.
It helps you track how your available cash changed over the selected financial year.
Where to find it

What you’ll see

How to use it
- Use the category filters to view value trends for Equity, Mutual Funds, or Cash Balance separately.
- Hover over any point on the chart to see the value for that specific day.

Notes
• Keep the tab on All for a complete picture; other tabs restrict the curve to that bucket.
• Starting value and Current value depend on the selected financial year.
• New accounts or periods with no activity may display a near-flat curve.
What if…
| Scenario | What to do |
|---|
| I only want to see Equity (excluding Mutual Funds and Cash) | Select the Equity tab to filter the curve and summary tiles. |
| I need to analyse a different financial year | Use the Date range selector (top-right) and choose the required FY. |
