What are the different types of Price Action screeners on FYERS?

Price action screeners help you identify trading opportunities based purely on how prices move in the market. Instead of using complex indicators, these screeners focus on price behaviour—such as sharp moves, breakouts, gaps, or reversals—to highlight active and interesting stocks.

These screeners automatically scan the market during trading hours and surface stocks that are showing unusual or meaningful price movement. This makes it easier to spot opportunities without manually tracking charts throughout the day.

How price action screeners work

Each price action screener is built on predefined rules related to price movement. When a stock meets those rules, it appears in the screener results. If the price behaviour changes and no longer matches the conditions, the stock is automatically removed.

Because these screeners react to live market data, the results are dynamic and can change frequently. This helps you stay aligned with current market activity rather than relying on outdated information.

When price action screeners are useful

Price action screeners are especially useful if you want to:

  • Quickly find stocks showing strong momentum or sudden movement
  • Spot breakouts or breakdowns as they happen
  • Identify possible reversals after sharp intraday moves
  • Reduce the need to monitor multiple charts manually

These screeners are commonly used by intraday and short-term traders, but they can also help investors understand where market activity is concentrated.

How to access price action screeners

  1. Go to Markets > Screeners on FYERS Web or open the Screeners section in the FYERS app.
  2. Browse the available price action screeners.
