What are the different commodity screeners available on FYERS?

FYERS offers dedicated commodity futures screeners to help traders track price movement and activity in commodity futures contracts. These screeners are available under Markets > Screeners on FYERS Web and the FYERS App and are designed to highlight active commodities during the trading session without manually scanning charts.

Commodity screeners

Commodity screeners focus on real-time price behaviour in commodity futures such as metals, energy, and agricultural contracts. They highlight contracts showing strong gains, sharp declines, or notable intraday price characteristics.

These screeners are useful for traders who want to monitor short-term momentum, strength, or weakness in commodity futures and act on emerging intraday trends.

Available commodity screeners

FYERS currently provides the following commodity futures screeners:

  • Commodity gainers – Contracts showing the highest price gains during the session
  • Commodity losers – Contracts with the largest price declines in the session
  • Commodity open = low – Contracts where the opening price is also the day’s low so far
  • Commodity open = high – Contracts where the opening price is also the day’s high so far

What if...

ScenarioExplanation
A commodity appears in gainers but then reversesThis may indicate profit booking or a short-term reversal. Confirm using volume and broader price trend.
The same contract appears under open = high and losersThis suggests early selling pressure followed by continued weakness during the session.
Screener results remain unchanged for some timeThis indicates relatively stable price action. Screeners update automatically as prices change during market hours.
Note: Commodity screeners highlight price movement and activity, not trade recommendations. Always consider liquidity, volatility, and risk before trading commodity futures.
