How to re-activate my trading account?

If your FYERS trading account has been inactive for 12 consecutive months, it may be marked as inactive in line with circulars issued by the NSE and BSE. This is a regulatory safeguard for protecting inactive investor accounts.

You can still reactivate your account online, and no re-KYC or IPV is required if you return within 2 years. If it's been more than 2 years since your last trade, you'll need to complete additional verification steps.

Reactivation process for individual accounts

  1. Log in to FYERS Web or mobile app.
  2. Click your profile icon at the top-right corner and click 'Profile'.
  3. Go to 'Personal details' and click on 'Reactivate account'.

If your account has been inactive for more than 2 years:

  1. Choose your employment type and annual income, then click 'Continue'.
  2. You’ll be redirected to DigiLocker:
    • Enter your Aadhaar number and OTP.
    • Enter your six-digit PIN and continue.
  3. Take a live photo and upload or draw your signature.
  4. Click on 'Proceed' to e-Sign and complete the Aadhaar OTP process.
  5. Once submitted, your reactivation request will be processed within 2 to 5 working days.

Reactivation process for non-individual accounts

  1. Download and print the reactivation form (linked in the article).
  2. Fill out and sign the form.
  3. Attach the following documents:
    • PAN (mandatory)
    • Aadhaar (mandatory)
  4. Courier the form and documents to:
    FYERS Securities Private Limited
225, 14th Cross Rd, Rahmath Nagar,
    RT Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560032
