How to re-activate my trading account?

If your trading account has been inactive for more than two years, it may be deactivated according to SEBI guidelines. The process of reactivation is as follows:

  1. Log in to FYERS Web
  2. Go to the top-right corner and click on your user icon. Select Profile from the dropdown menu or use the link above.
  3. Click on Reactivate Account.
  4. Select your Employment type and Annual Income, then click Continue to proceed.
  5. You’ll be redirected to the DigiLocker page. Enter your Aadhaar number and the OTP sent to your registered Aadhaar-linked mobile number. Enter the six-digit PIN and click Continue.
  6. Click a live photo and upload/draw your signature. Then, click on Proceed to E-Sign.
  7. Enter your Aadhaar number and OTP again to complete the e-sign process.
  8. Upon completing the e-sign process, your details will be submitted successfully.

It will take up to 2 to 5 working days to process the reactivation request.

Offline process for non-individual accounts

Note: The online procedure is applicable only for individuals. For non-individuals and NRIs, the process remains offline.

  1. Download the reactivation document (in the attachment).
  2. Take a printout of the document.
  3. Fill out the form.
  4. Courier the duly signed form along with the required documents to our office at:

You don’t receive Aadhaar OTPEnsure your mobile number is linked to Aadhaar. Visit UIDAI to update it if needed.
You have a joint, corporate, or NRI accountThe reactivation must be done through the offline process with physical documentation.
Tip: Make sure your Aadhaar-linked mobile number is active and accessible before starting the reactivation process.
