At FYERS, you can request account closure in two ways—by closing only your Trading account or by closing both your Trading and Demat accounts together. The process varies depending on the option you choose. While online closure is preferred, in some cases our support team may instruct you to complete the offline process. The IL&FS Demat account closure is always offline and handled separately.
To close both Trading & Demat accounts online
On FYERS App
- Log in to the FYERS App.
- Tap Menu (☰) → Profile.
- Go to the Others tab and select Close Account.
- Tap Close and confirm.
- Enter the OTP sent to your registered email or mobile number.
- Once confirmed, your account will be closed within 3 working days. An acknowledgment will be sent to your registered email ID.
On FYERS Web
- Log in at https://fyers.in/web/.
- Click on your Profile icon.
- Open the Others tab and click Close Account.
- Click Close and confirm.
- Enter the OTP sent to your registered email or mobile number.

To close only the Trading account offline
If you only want to close your Trading account while keeping the Demat account active, follow these steps:
- Download and complete the Account Closure Form from this link: Download Closure Form
- Ensure all details are filled in block letters in English.
- Courier the signed form to:
FYERS Securities Private Limited,
225, 14th Cross Rd, Rahmath Nagar,
RT Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka – 560032.
This offline closure process for Trading-only accounts is required only if specifically advised by FYERS Support.
For IL&FS Demat account closure (separate process)
If you hold an IL&FS Demat account linked to FYERS, the closure process is offline only. Complete the IL&FS Demat Closure Form and courier it to:
FYERS Securities Pvt. Ltd.
225, 14th Cross Rd, 1st Block,
Rahmath Nagar, RT Nagar,
Bengaluru, Karnataka – 560032.
Important: Before initiating account closure, ensure your account balance is ₹0, all positions are closed or a Target DP ID is provided for transfer, and a digitally signed CMR copy is submitted. Aadhaar authentication is required for e-sign. Once closed, an account cannot be reopened. To trade again, you will need to create a new account.
