Why Was My Trading Account Reactivation Application Rejected?

Your FYERS trading account may become dormant if there is no activity for 365 consecutive days. Reactivation is now available online for individual accounts, which is the preferred process. Older offline reactivation applications could be rejected for documentation issues.

Reactivation Process (Preferred – Online)

  1. Log in to FYERS Web / App.
  2. Go to the Profile section.
  3. Navigate to the Others tab and click on Re-Activate Account.
  4. Complete Aadhaar e-sign verification.
  5. Your account will be reactivated within 24–48 hours after successful verification.

Important: Ensure your KYC details, PAN-Aadhaar linkage, and nominee information are up to date before submitting reactivation online.

Why Offline Applications Were Rejected (Older Process)

If you previously submitted an offline reactivation request, it may have been rejected due to:

  • Recent, clear photograph not attached.
  • Documents not self-attested.
  • KYC form had scratches, markings, overwriting, or whitener applied.
  • Required fields left incomplete or form not signed.
  • Details did not match supporting documents (e.g., pincode mismatch).
  • Name mismatch with Income Tax Department (ITD) records.
  • PAN and address proof not attached.
  • Unclear or unreadable attached proofs.
  • PAN card without signature.
  • Signature mismatch between form and documents.
  • Proof of both correspondence and permanent addresses not provided.
  • Details in the form not readable.
  • Date mentioned in the KYC form — avoid adding a date as it may cause rejection.

If rejected earlier, you can now reactivate your account online instead of resubmitting offline.

Tip: Double-check that your Aadhaar is linked with your mobile number before e-signing, as OTP delivery depends on it.
