How to place orders in InstaOptions?

Placing orders in InstaOptions is easy and fast. You can place orders from any application page, such as options chain, options data, strategy, screeners, index contributors, or find strategy. You just need to follow these steps:
  1. Select the option contract or the strategy that you want to trade. You can either click on the option contract from the options chain or the options data page, or select the strategy from the strategy or the find strategy page.
  2. A pop-up window will appear with the order details, such as underlying asset, expiry date, strike price, option type, quantity, price, and order type. You can modify these details as per your preference.
  3. Click on the ‘Execute’ button at the bottom of the pop-up window. Your order will be placed and executed based on the Bid/Ask available in the market.
  4. You can also place basket orders by selecting multiple options contracts and clicking on the ‘Add to Basket’ button at the bottom of the pop-up window.
  5. You also click on 'Analyze' on the top of the order window to view and analyze the pay-off, combined premium chart, risk-reward, etc. of the options contract selected in the order.
