How can I place limit orders in the Scalper Terminal?
If you prefer using limit orders instead of market orders, you’ll need to disable Quick Trade Mode first. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through it.
Step 1: Disable Quick Trade Mode
- Go to the Settings menu within the Scalper Terminal.
- Find the toggle for Quick Trade Mode and turn it off.
Step 2: Use the standard order window
- Choose the instrument you want to trade, either from the Options Chain or Chart view.
- Click to open the order window.
- Enter your desired limit price.
- Review and confirm the order to place it.

I accidentally placed a market order instead of a limit order. | Ensure Quick Trade Mode is disabled before placing your order. |
I can't find the order window. | Right-click on the instrument in the options chain or chart and select "Place Order". |
My limit order isn’t executing. | Check if the market price has reached your specified limit price. |
Limit orders are useful when you want to control the price at which your trade executes, especially in fast-moving markets.
