How to place a Basket Orders on FYERS ?

Basket Order lets you add multiple buy or sell orders into one saved basket. You can create a basket, add symbols, review the estimated funds required, optionally use a multiplier, and then execute the basket.

This is useful when you want to place multiple stock or F&O orders from one screen instead of creating each order separately.

Placing a Basket Order on FYERS App

  • Open the FYERS App.
  • Go to Orders from the bottom navigation bar.
  • Under Stocks and F&O, tap the Baskets tab.
  • Tap Create Basket.
  • Enter a basket name.
  • Tap Create.
  • Open the basket you created.
  • Tap Add symbol.
  • Search and select the symbol you want to add.
  • In the order window, enter the required order details such as transaction type, quantity, product type, order type, and price, if applicable.
  • Tap Add to Basket.
  • Review the basket summary, including Funds Required and Funds Available.
  • If required, enable the Multiplier option and review the updated order quantities and funds required.
  • Tap Execute to place the basket orders.

Placing a Basket Order on FYERS Web

  • Log in to FYERS Web.
  • Go to Orders from the top navigation menu.
  • Under Stocks and F&O, open the Baskets tab.
  • Click Create Basket.
  • Enter a basket name.
  • Click Create.
  • Open the basket you created.
  • Click Add symbol.
  • Search and select the symbol you want to add.
  • In the order window, enter the required order details such as transaction type, quantity, product type, order type, and price, if applicable.
  • Click Add to Basket.
  • Review the basket summary, including Funds Required and Funds Available.
  • If required, enable the Multiplier option and review the updated order quantities and funds required.
  • Click Execute to place the basket orders.

Important points to know

  • Each basket can contain up to 50 items.
  • The basket screen shows Funds Required and Funds Available before execution.
  • If the basket includes both buy and sell orders, buy orders are placed before sell orders to help ensure hedge margin benefits.
  • The multiplier increases or reduces the quantities of all eligible orders in the basket. Review the updated funds required before executing.
  • Orders may still be rejected after execution if they fail exchange, RMS, margin, price band, freeze quantity, or other order validation checks.
Review all symbols, quantities, order types, prices, multiplier settings, and funds required before executing the basket. Once you click or tap Execute, the orders are sent for placement based on the details added to the basket.
