Can I edit or delete a leg in basket mode in FYERS?
Basket mode in FYERS let you place multiple trades (called legs) together as a single strategy.
Before you execute the basket, you can edit or delete any leg to adjust your position details.
Once a basket has been executed, its legs become live orders and can’t be changed.
Steps to Edit a Leg in a Basket on FYERS App
- After adding legs tap any leg from the order window called "Basket Orders".
Update one or more of the following fields:
- Buy / Sell
- Option type: CE / PE
- Expiry date
- Strike price
- No of lots
- Order Type: Market or Limit
- Price (mandatory for Limit orders)
Tap Apply to save changes.
The summary showing Funds required, Net premium, and Charges refreshes automatically.
Steps to Delete a Leg in a Basket on FYERS App
- Tap the leg in the order window named 'Basket orders' to open its details.
- Tap the Delete/Trash icon to remove that leg.
- Confirm deletion if prompted.
You can edit or delete a leg only before placing the basket. After you place it, the basket is sent to the exchange and can’t be edited further.
