How to edit or remove symbols in a Basket Order?

You can edit or remove symbols from a Basket Order before placing the basket. This helps you adjust order details or remove a symbol if you no longer want it to be part of the basket.

This option is available on FYERS App, FYERS Web, and FYERS Trader.

FYERS App

  • Open the FYERS App.
  • Tap Orders from the bottom navigation.
  • Go to the Baskets
  • Open the basket you want to update.
  • Tap the symbol you want to edit or remove.
  • A Quick actions panel opens for that symbol.
  • To edit the symbol, tap Modify, make the required changes, and save.
  • To remove the symbol, tap Delete.
  • Once deleted, the symbol is removed from the basket and the basket details are updated.

FYERS Web

  • Log in to FYERS Web.
  • Go to Orders.
  • Select the Baskets tab.
  • Open the basket you want to update.
  • Locate the symbol you want to edit or remove.
  • Use the action icons shown against the symbol.
  • To edit the symbol, click the Edit icon, make the required changes, and save.
  • To remove the symbol, click the Delete icon.
  • Review the updated basket before placing the order.

FYERS Trader

  • Open FYERS Trader.
  • Open Basket Orders.
  • Select the basket you want to update.
  • Use the action icons shown against the symbol.
  • To edit the symbol, click the Edit icon, make the required changes, and save.
  • To remove the symbol, click the Delete icon.
  • Review the updated basket before placing the order.

You can edit or remove symbols only before executing the basket. Always review the updated basket before placing the order.

What if...

ScenarioSolution
I removed a symbol by mistake.Add the symbol again to the basket with the required order details.
I want to change only the quantity.Use the edit or modify option for that symbol and update the quantity.
I cannot see the action icons.Select or hover over the symbol row, depending on the platform, to view the available actions.
The basket details changed after deleting a symbol.This is expected. Review the updated item count and funds required before placing the basket.
