How to use straddle mode in basket mode on FYERS?
Straddle Mode lets you create a Call + Put position at the same strike directly from the Options Chain. When you choose Add Buy or Add Sell, FYERS adds both CE and PE legs to the basket. You can then review, execute, or save the basket.
FYERS App
- Log in to the FYERS App and open Options.
- Open the required Options Chain and turn on Basket mode.
- Select Straddle from the view selector.
- Choose the strike and tap Add Buy for a long straddle or Add Sell for a short straddle.
- Review the CE and PE legs, order details, funds, net premium, and charges.
- Tap Execute to place the straddle or Save to keep it in your basket.
FYERS Web
- Log in to FYERS Web and open Options Chain.
- Turn on Basket mode and select Straddle from the view selector.
- Choose the strike and click Add Buy for a long straddle or Add Sell for a short straddle.
- Review the CE and PE legs, order details, funds, net premium, and charges.
- Click Execute to place the straddle or Save to keep it in your basket.
Note: After execution, the basket legs are sent to the exchange sequentially in an order designed to require lower margin.
What If...
| Scenario | Solution |
|---|
| Straddle needs to be placed later | Select Save instead of Execute. |
| Wrong strike is selected | Remove the added legs and select the correct strike again. |
| Order is rejected | Check the rejection reason in Orders and review price, quantity, or funds before retrying. |
