Can I Convert My MTF Position to a Delivery (CNC) Position in FYERS?

Yes. You can place a request to convert a Margin Trading Facility (MTF) position to a Delivery (CNC) position on the FYERS App, FYERS Web, or FYERS Trader—if the rules below are met.

Where Can I Place the Conversion?

Steps to Convert an MTF Position

On FYERS App

  1. Log in to the FYERS App.
  2. Go to Portfolio → Positions.
  3. Tap the MTF stock you want to convert.
  4. Tap Convert to Delivery in quick actions.
  5. Enter the quantity and confirm.

On FYERS Web

  1. Log in at fyers.in/web.
  2. Go to Portfolio → Positions.
  3. Find the MTF position to convert.
  4. Click the menu next to the stock.
  5. Select Convert to Delivery (may show as “Convert to Overnight” on some screens).
  6. Enter the quantity and click Convert.

On FYERS Trader

  1. Log in at trade.fyers.in.
  2. Go to Manage Account → Positions.
  3. Click the Edit (✎) icon next to your MTF stock.
  4. Choose Convert to Delivery.
  5. Enter the quantity and confirm.

Key Conditions for Conversion

Eligibility Rules 

  • Same-day MTF intraday buys cannot be converted to Delivery on the same day.
  • Intraday positions taken in cash cannot be converted to MTF.
  • Delivery (CNC) positions cannot be converted to MTF.

Important Points to Remember

  • If funds are not enough, the request is rejected.
  • All requests go through a Risk Team check and are processed on the next working day.
  • If you sell the MTF stock before the request is executed, the request is cancelled.
  • Updates are sent on WhatsApp and email after success or rejection.
