What is the maximum amount I can place per order in FYERS?

What is the maximum per order limit in FYERS?

To maintain trading risk controls and comply with exchange standards, FYERS has a per order limit of ₹6 crores. If an order exceeds this value, it will be automatically rejected.

What happens if I exceed the limit?

You’ll receive an error message similar to this:

“RED:RULE:{Single Order Value}Current:INR 8,11,01,000.00 Set:INR 6,00,00,000.00 for C-{Your Client ID} [FYERS_RISK_CUG]”

This means your order exceeds FYERS' permitted limit and cannot be processed.

How to resolve it?

Use the Basket Order feature to split your trade into multiple legs under the ₹6 crore limit.

Example:

  • Intended order value: ₹8 crores
  • Solution: Split it into two orders of ₹4 crores each using a basket order
