What is the cut-off time to place a Buyback order?
Buyback orders on FYERS can only be placed during the specific exchange-approved tendering window.
These timings determine when your buyback request will be accepted. Any order submitted outside this window
is automatically rejected.
Buyback Order Timings
| Particulars | Timings |
|---|
| Normal Days | 9:15 AM to 2:30 PM |
| Closing Day | 9:15 AM to 1:00 PM |
Orders placed before or after these timings will not be accepted by the exchange.

Notes
- You can tender only the quantity available in your demat account on the record date.
- The buyback option appears only when the tender window announced by the company is active.
What if
| Scenario | Explanation |
|---|
| You try placing an order after 2:30 PM on a normal day | The system will reject the request as the exchange does not accept orders beyond the daily cut-off time. |
| You miss the 1:00 PM deadline on the closing day | The tendering window closes, and no further orders can be submitted. |
| The buyback is not visible on the platform | The window may not have opened yet, or it may have already closed. |
| The timings differ from what appears above | The company may have revised the schedule; always check the latest circular in the Corporate Actions section.
