Is it mandatory to submit the KYC documents, though my KYC is already registered?

If you're already KYC compliant, you usually don’t need to resubmit your documents. However, if any of your personal or document details have recently changed, you must provide updated KYC documents to ensure your application is processed without delays or rejections.

When you don’t need to resubmit KYC documents

You do not need to resubmit KYC documents if:

  • You're already verified in the KRA (KYC Registration Agency) system
  • Your existing details (name, address, etc.) are unchanged and up to date

FYERS will validate your KYC compliance during the account onboarding process using your PAN and date of birth.

When resubmission is required

You’ll need to resubmit KYC documents if:

  • There have been recent changes in your name, address, mobile number, or email
  • Your earlier KYC details are outdated or mismatched
  • Your KYC record is not retrievable from the KRA database

Submitting updated documents helps avoid unnecessary delays or rejection of your application.
