If you're already KYC-registered with a SEBI-authorised KYC Registration Agency (KRA), you may not need to resubmit your documents when opening an account with FYERS. However, this depends on whether your existing KYC is still valid, complete, and accessible in the KRA database.
You are not required to re-upload your KYC documents if all the following conditions are met:
FYERS checks your KYC status automatically during onboarding using your PAN and date of birth. If verified, your application can proceed without additional document uploads.
You’ll be asked to upload fresh KYC documents if:

You can check your current KYC status by entering your PAN on any of the official KRA portals:
These portals will display whether your KYC is verified, on hold, rejected, or requires updates.
