If you're already KYC-registered with a SEBI-authorised KYC Registration Agency (KRA), you may not need to resubmit your documents when opening an account with FYERS. However, this depends on whether your existing KYC is still valid, complete, and accessible in the KRA database.
You are not required to re-upload your KYC documents if all the following conditions are met:

You’ll be asked to upload fresh KYC documents if:
Resubmitting the correct documents ensures your application is processed without delays or errors.
You can check your current KYC status by entering your PAN on any of the official KRA portals:
These portals will display whether your KYC is verified, on hold, rejected, or requires updates.
| Scenario | Solution |
|---|---|
| My KYC is verified, but I’ve changed my address | Upload updated address proof during your FYERS account application |
| I changed my mobile number or email ID | It will be automatically updated in your KYC |
| I don’t know my KYC status | We will attempt to fetch your KRA record using PAN and DOB during onboarding |
