You can transfer shares from one Demat to another, both Online and Offline.
Procedure for transferring the shares offline:
Submit Transfer-Cum-Closure forms to the broker from whom you wish to transfer the securities.
Along with the forms mentioned above, you’re required to submit DIS and Client Master Report (of FYERS)
Upon verification of details and clearing dues (if any), the shares will be transferred to the new Demat account within two business days. A nominal charge might be applicable for share transfers.
Once the shares are transferred to your FYERS Demat account, a confirmation mail will be sent from CDSL. The same will also be reflected under 'Holdings' in the Dashboard.
Procedure for transferring the shares online:
In the case of online transfer on CDSL, transfer of shares can be done through the ‘EASIEST' platform.
Visit CDSL’s ‘EASIEST' portal and follow the instructions to transfer the shares from one Demat account to another.
During the process, under “trusted accounts”, enter the details of your FYERS Demat account where the shares that need to be transferred should be entered.
Once the account is validated, securities can be transferred from the existing Demat to your FYERS Account. For the step-by-step procedure to transfer shares using CDSL easiest, refer to this article.

Note:
Transferring shares from one Demat account to another won't attract any capital gains tax.
The offline procedure to transfer the shares might vary from broker to broker.
Online transfer of shares might not be available with all the brokerages.
