How do I register for CDSL Easiest?
Registering for CDSL’s Easiest facility through FYERS allows you to manage my demat transactions like share transfers and buybacks online. Here's how you can register:
Step-by-step registration process
- Navigate to the CDSL website, enter the BO ID and DP ID of the broker from which you are transferring the holdings.
Make sure to read and accept the terms and conditions.
- An OTP is sent to your registered mobile number and email ID. Two different OTP will be shared to your email and mobile number, enter the OTP to proceed,
- Set up your account details — choose a unique alphanumeric username, select a security question, provide the answer, and check the ‘Trusted Account (PIN)’ box. Then, click on Continue.
- Once registration appears complete, click on Ok.
- I enter the 16-digit Demat account number of my Trusted Account and authorise it using the OTP sent to my mobile number. Then, I click Ok to proceed.
- The mapping request is dispatched to CDSL. Avoid making any changes and simply click on Continue.
- After completing these steps, registration is sent to us for authorisation.
- Once we authorise your registration, start using the CDSL Easiest services — like initiating transferring shares, and more.
