How to Create, Edit, or Delete a Price Alert using FIA?

Use FIA to set and manage price alerts directly from the Markets page on FYERS. Open FIA chat, describe the alert you want (create, edit, or delete), and FIA performs the action and confirms it in chat. Alerts notify you on FYERS App and FYERS Web, and once they trigger they auto-disable.

Steps to Create an Alert via FIA

On FYERS App

  1. Open the FYERS App and tap the FIA icon on the Markets section to open the chat.
  2. Type a create prompt, for example:
    • Create a price alert on RELIANCE when LTP is greater than 3000. Name it “Rel GT 3000”.
    • Set alert for INFY when LTP is less than or equal to 1500 by price. Name it “INFY <= 1500”.
    • Set alert on TCS when LTP moves 2% above current price. Name it “TCS +2%”.
  3. Send the message.
  4. Check FIA’s confirmation in chat that the alert was created.

On FYERS Web

  1. Open FYERS Web (Markets page).
  2. Click FIA to open the chat.
  3. Send a create prompt (same pattern as App) with symbol, condition, price/% value, and an alert name.
  4. Review FIA’s confirmation.

Steps to Edit an Alert via FIA

You can modify the condition, price/% value, name, and notes. You can also disable an alert without deleting it.

On FYERS App

  1. Open the FYERS App and tap the FIA icon on the Markets section to open the chat.
  2. In chat, reference the alert and send your change, for example:
    • Modify my RELIANCE alert “Rel GT 3000” to greater than 3100.
    • Change INFY alert value to 1480 and rename to “INFY <= 1480”.
    • Disable the alert “TCS +2%”.
  3. Confirm the update/disable message in FIA chat.

On FYERS Web

  1. Open FYERS Web → FIA.
  2. Send your edit prompt (same patterns as App).
  3. Review FIA’s confirmation.

Steps to Delete an Alert via FIA

You’ll see a confirmation prompt before deletion. Deleted alerts cannot be recovered.

On FYERS App

  1. Open the FYERS App and tap the FIA icon on the Markets section to open the chat.
  2. Send a delete prompt, e.g., Delete the alert “INFY <= 1500”.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted in chat and review the success confirmation.

On FYERS Web

  1. Open FYERS Web → FIA.
  2. Send your delete prompt (same pattern), e.g., Delete “Rel GT 3000”.
  3. Confirm deletion when prompted and check the success message.
Use the exact alert name in your prompt to target the correct alert. If you’re unsure, ask FIA to list your alerts first, then proceed.
