How do I customise my news feed in FYERS?

FYERS gives you the flexibility to tailor your news feed to match your market interests. Whether you follow equities, debt markets, or commodities, you can enable only the updates that matter most. These preferences help you stay focused and informed—without information overload.

News settings can be accessed from the Settings panel via any chart, order window, or dropdown menu on the platform.

Feature overview

You can manage news delivery based on:

  • Market segments: Broad market, Debt, Equity
  • News formats: Quick news bites, full-day roundups, and commodity-specific updates
  • Subcategories: Filter by F&O, global updates, block deals, IPOs, political or economic developments

These filters work together to control what’s shown in your news widget or terminal panel.

Steps to customise your news feed

  • Click the Settings icon (gear symbol) or open Settings from the top-right dropdown menu.
  • From the left menu, choose News.
  • You’ll see 3 main segments:
    • Broad market – includes global, political, economic, and F&O updates
    • Debt – money markets and bonds
    • Equity – stock news, results, IPOs, block deals, and corporate actions
  • Click each category and select or deselect specific subtypes as needed.
  • Under the main News section, toggle optional formats:
    • Quick news bite – short alerts in real time
    • News roundup: Last 24 Hours – end-of-day summaries
    • Commodity market news – focused only on commodities

What if I reset or turn everything off?
