How Can I Customise My Order Settings in FYERS?
FYERS lets you customise the order window to save default trading preferences, enable risk alerts, and control how the order entry form behaves. These settings reduce repetitive inputs, improve speed, and help prevent mistakes while placing trades.
Features Available in the Order Window Settings
- Customisation – Predefine order preferences for product types like Intraday, Overnight, and MTF (order type, price type, triggers, and position sizing).
- Risk management alert – Enable warnings when an order may breach your risk parameters.
- Heads-up messages – Turn on/off quick prompts or confirmation messages before placing orders.
- Sticky order window – Keep the order window fixed on-screen until you close it manually.
Steps to Customise Order Settings
On FYERS App
- Tap the Menu (☰) icon → Settings → Order window.
Under Customisation:
- Select a product type: Intraday, Overnight, or MTF, then toggle ON.
- For Intraday: choose Regular, Cover, or Bracket order.
- For Overnight and MTF: only Regular orders are supported.
- Choose Price type (Market or Limit) and optionally set a Trigger %.
- Configure Position sizing (by lot, amount, or percentage).
Adjust other options:
- Risk management alert – Toggle ON to receive risk warnings.
- Heads-up messages – Toggle ON for on-screen confirmation prompts.
- Sticky order window – Toggle ON to keep the form open until you close it.
- Tap Save to apply changes.
- Click your profile icon (top-right) → Settings → Order window.
Under Customisation:
- Select a product type: Intraday, Overnight, or MTF, then toggle ON.
- For Intraday: choose Regular, Cover, or Bracket order.
- For Overnight and MTF: only Regular orders are supported.
- Choose Price type (Market or Limit) and optionally set a Trigger %.
- Configure Position sizing (by lot, amount, or percentage).
Configure additional options:
- Risk management alert – Enable to receive risk warnings.
- Heads-up messages – Toggle ON for confirmation prompts.
- Sticky order window – Toggle ON to keep the window pinned until you close it.
- Click Save to apply changes.
Keep “Heads-up messages” ON if you prefer an extra confirmation before placing orders, or turn them OFF for faster execution during active trading sessions.
What If...
