Can I create my own custom options strategy?

Yes. You can create a custom options strategy in FYERS using Options Strategy Builder. You can select an underlying and add option legs based on your preferred strike, expiry, buy or sell side, and quantity.

Creating a custom options strategy

FYERS App

  1. Log in to the FYERS App.
  2. Tap Options from the bottom menu.
  3. Go to the Tools section.
  4. Open Strategy Builder and select Create Strategy.
  5. Select or search for the required underlying.
  6. Add the required option legs and configure the strike, expiry, buy or sell side, and quantity.

FYERS Web

  1. Log in to FYERS Web and go to Options → Strategy Builder.
  2. Click Create Strategy.
  3. Select or search for the required underlying.
  4. Click Build Strategy to open the option chain.
  5. Select the expiry and add the required Call or Put legs using Buy or Sell.
  6. Configure the quantity or lots and click Apply.


Once the legs are added, you can review the strategy in the Payoff section. On FYERS Web, you can use Overview, P&L and Greeks, Strategy Chart, and Multistrike OI to review the strategy before proceeding.

You can modify or remove the option legs as required. A custom strategy can contain one or multiple legs, but all legs must belong to the same underlying.
