What is the procedure to open a Demat and trading account with FYERS?
You can open a Trading and Demat account with FYERS through a fully digital and paperless process. All you need is your PAN, Aadhaar (linked to your mobile number), and bank details. The account can be opened using the FYERS mobile app or on any desktop browser via FYERS Web. Here’s how you can get started:
On FYERS App (Android / iOS)
- Install the FYERS App
Download it from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Begin the signup
- Enter your mobile number and verify it via OTP
- Enter your email ID and verify it via OTP
- Fill in personal details
Enter your PAN and date of birth, and bank account details (account number and IFSC). - Upload KYC documents
Submit address proof (usually Aadhaar) and capture a live photo using your phone’s camera. Select segments
Choose from:
- Equity (Cash)
- F&O (Equity, Currency, Commodity)
- Mutual Funds
- Add a nominee (optional)
You can add a nominee during signup or update it later in the 'Personal details' section under Profile after logging in. - Digitally sign the form
Use NSDL’s Aadhaar OTP-based e-Sign to complete your application. - Submit for verification
Once submitted, FYERS will verify your details and notify you when the account is activated.
On FYERS Web
Make sure your mobile number is linked to Aadhaar. Keep PAN, Aadhaar, and bank details ready to finish the process without delays.
