What Is a KRA, and What Does It Mean if My KYC Status Is on Hold, Rejected, or Under Process?

KRA stands for KYC Registration Agency. Registered with SEBI under the KYC Registration Agency Regulations, 2011, KRAs centrally maintain investors’ KYC records on behalf of SEBI-registered intermediaries. The KYC process verifies a customer’s identity and details, which is mandatory to open a trading and Demat account at FYERS.
