What actions can I take on my open positions in FYERS?

When you click on any open position in the FYERS “Positions” tab, a detailed side sheet opens up — giving you full control over that position. This panel allows you to monitor, manage, and act on your trades with just a few clicks.

Available Actions from the Position Side Sheet

1. Exit the Position

Use the Sell or Exit icon at the bottom to square off the position — partially or fully. You can also exit multiple positions at once from the main screen.

2. Add Stop-loss

Use the Add stop-loss link in the P&L section to protect against downside risk. Learn how to set a stop-loss from the position panel.

3. Place a Target Order

Open the Sell window and use a Limit order to set your profit target. See how to place a target order correctly.

4. Convert to Overnight

From the 3-dot menu (⋮), you can convert an Intraday position to Overnight directly.

5. View Market Depth

Switch to the Market Depth tab to see real-time bid-ask quotes and order book.

6. View Order and Trade History

  • Orders tab shows linked order activity
