How to disable Time-Based One-Time Password (TOTP) in FYERS
TOTP (Time-Based One-Time Password) is an extra layer of login security that generates a changing code in an authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator). We strongly recommend keeping it enabled. If you still wish to disable TOTP, follow the steps below on FYERS App or FYERS Web.
Important: Disabling TOTP reduces the security of your account. Consider the risks before proceeding.
On FYERS App
- Log in to the FYERS App.
- Tap Menu (☰) → Profile.
- Scroll to the Others section.
- Find External 2FA TOTP and tap Disable.
- When the confirmation pop-up asks “Are you sure?”, tap Disable to confirm.
On FYERS Web
- Log in at fyers.in/web.
- Click your Profile icon.
- Open the Others tab.
- Find External 2FA TOTP and click Disable.
- When the confirmation pop-up asks “Are you sure?”, click Disable to confirm.
