Will my returns be exactly the same as shown in the theme pages?
No, it may not be. This is because the weightage cannot be exactly the same due to the differing value of various stocks in a theme. This is a determining factor why your returns cannot be exactly the same as the return mentioned in the platform. Since it is not possible to by fractional shares in India the limitation does exist. For example, let’s assume that a theme consists of 4 stocks as follows:
- Stock A = ₹100 * 10 shares = ₹1000 (25.64%)
- Stock B = ₹300 * 3 shares = ₹900 (23.08%)
- Stock C = ₹500 * 2 shares = ₹1000 (25.64%)
- Stock D = ₹1000 * 1 share = ₹1000 (25.64%)
Total Theme Value = ₹3,900/-
Assuming that you invest more than ₹3,900 in this case, the investment allocation per stock may change slightly to find the best equi-weight balance.
