Will I be notified about a margin call for any shortfall?
Yes, we notify you in case of a margin shortfall through email alerts and, in some cases, phone calls. These notifications are intended to help you take timely action to restore the required margin and avoid the risk of your MTF positions being squared off.
However, during periods of extreme market volatility, our Risk team may initiate square-off without prior notice if your margin breaches risk thresholds. We strongly recommend that you monitor your margin status regularly on the FYERS platform and maintain sufficient funds at all times.
