Will DDPI charges be applicable if I initiate the process but do not complete it?

Yes, DDPI (Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction) charges will still be applicable even if you do not complete the e-sign process. This is because, once the DDPI process is initiated, the stamp paper is generated on your behalf, and the associated cost is incurred by FYERS at that stage.

Even if you decide to opt out before completing the e-sign, the charges will remain applicable due to the backend processing already in place.

The good news is that this is a one-time charge. If you choose to activate DDPI later, you will not be charged again.
