Why is there no Kill Switch feature in FYERS trading platforms?
At FYERS, we aim to empower traders with tools that promote self-discipline rather than imposing restrictive measures. The Kill Switch, designed to temporarily disable trading or certain segments, might initially seem beneficial for managing trading exposure and preventing burnout. However, we encourage traders to cultivate their own discipline and make mindful trading decisions. Sustainable trading relies on personal responsibility and self-regulation. Although a Kill Switch could offer temporary restraint, true trading discipline must originate from the trader.
As an alternative, we offer the Smart Exit Alert in the Fyers App. This feature enables traders to set specific Profit & Loss (P&L) thresholds, aiding in timely and proactive decision-making without the need for constant market monitoring.
