Why does the VWAP indicator not display properly on FYERS platforms?
The VWAP (Volume-Weighted Average Price) indicator may occasionally fail to display correctly when zoomed in on smaller timeframes. This issue often arises due to insufficient data loaded or high data density in smaller timeframes.
Example: Exide Industries Chart
Let’s consider a practical example using Exide Industries’ intraday chart:
When the timeframe is set to 5 minutes, the VWAP plots correctly.
On changing the timeframe to 3 minutes, the VWAP still displays without issues.
However, when switching to 1 minute, the VWAP does not show properly when zoomed in.
When you zoom out on the 1-minute chart, the VWAP begins to appear, indicating that more historical data needs to be loaded for accurate plotting as shown in the video below:
