The VWAP (Volume-Weighted Average Price) indicator may occasionally not render correctly on FYERS platforms—especially on smaller timeframes. This typically relates to how charts load and display data based on zoom level and candle density.
VWAP relies on cumulative price and volume from the start of the session. On very small timeframes (e.g., 1-minute), many candles are needed to compute and draw VWAP smoothly. If only a limited number of candles are visible because you are zoomed in, or if sufficient historical data has not finished loading, the chart may not have enough data points to render VWAP fully.
• On a 5-minute chart, VWAP displays correctly.
• On a 3-minute chart, VWAP continues to plot without issue.
• On a 1-minute chart, VWAP may be missing when zoomed in too closely; zooming out lets more candles load and VWAP begins to display.
Note
For the most accurate VWAP, allow charts to load completely and avoid working in heavily zoomed-in 1-minute views unless necessary.
| Scenario | Solution |
|---|---|
| VWAP is missing on smaller timeframes | Zoom out to load more candles or switch to a slightly higher timeframe (e.g., 3-minute or 5-minute). |
| VWAP loads partially or intermittently | Reload the chart to fetch additional history and check your network/data-load settings. |
