When will the corporate actions such as Bonus & Splits reflect in my account?

Corporate actions such as Bonus & Split will reflect in your Demat account in 1-2 working days, after the record date. During this period, there might be a significant drop in the Notional P&L of the holdings. However, the same will be adjusted in the above-said timeline.


For Instance, A Ltd. announced a stock split in the ratio of 5:1 (i.e. the shares will be split 5 times) with a record date on 29th December. Mr Anirban, a client of FYERS had 100 shares of the company at ₹1,000 each. After the stock split, Anirban will have 500 shares (100*5) at ₹200 (1000/5). However, it will take 1-2 working days from 29th December for the shares to reflect in his account.


Note: When a listed company announces a Stock split or Bonus, the ISIN of the scrip changes. Hence, the transition timeline from the old ISIN to the new ISIN are subject to changes.
