When can I withdraw the funds after closing the positions and selling the equities?
You can withdraw funds shown under 'Withdrawable amount' in the 'Funds' section of the My Account portal. The sale proceeds or profits made during the day will not be available for withdrawal until settlements i.e., Trading+1 day (T+1).
For instance, Mr. Abhi has an available balance of ₹5,000 in his trading account and had holdings worth ₹5,000. Abhi sold his holdings on Tuesday, and logged in to My Account to withdraw an amount of ₹8,000. However, to his surprise his 'Withdrawable amount' is still showing ₹5,000. This is because the sale proceeds are subject to settlement and Abhi has to wait for a day to place his desired withdrawal request.
