Calculating the Sell Price of SGB Holdings on FYERS

What will be my sell price if I redeem my SGB holdings?

When you decide to redeem your SGB holdings, the selling price is based on the prevailing market rate on the day of redemption. Here's how it works:
  • Check the live market price of your SGBs on the Fyers Web or Fyers App.
  • Multiply the live market price per gram by the number of grams in your SGB holdings to calculate your total sell price.
To illustrate, if the market price of "SGBAPR28I-GB" is ₹5,948 per gram on your redemption day and you have 10 grams in your FYERS Demat account, then the selling price will amount to ₹59,480. Please note that this amount will be before any applicable taxes or statutory charges.
