What will be my sell price if I redeem my SGB holdings?
When you redeem your Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) holdings through FYERS, the sell price is determined by the live market value of the bond on the day of redemption.
How to calculate your redemption value?
- Check the live market price:
Open FYERS (Web or App) and look up the current trading price of your SGB (e.g., SGBAPR28I-GB). - Calculate total value:
Multiply the market price per gram by the number of grams held in your FYERS Demat account.
Example:
If the market price of “SGBAPR28I-GB” is ₹5,948 per gram and you hold 10 grams:
Your total sell price = ₹5,948 × 10 = ₹59,480 (before taxes and charges)
