When setting up your FYERS trading and Demat account, you must link an eligible bank account to enable seamless deposits and withdrawals while complying with SEBI rules.

Eligible bank account types

You can link the following account types:

  • Savings Account
  • Salary Account
  • Current Account (must be in your name if personal)

These account types are supported for both deposits and withdrawals from your trading account.

Non-eligible account types

FYERS does not allow linking of:

  • Overdraft (OD) Accounts
  • Cash Credit (CC) Accounts

Such accounts are typically tied to credit facilities or business funding and are subject to restrictions under SEBI and exchange guidelines.

Always link a bank account held in your own name. Transfers from third‑party or unregistered accounts will be rejected.
