What should I do if my account opening documents are rejected by FYERS?
If your FYERS account application was rejected due to document issues, don’t worry—it’s usually because of minor errors that can be fixed easily. Once corrected, your account can be re-submitted for approval.
Why was my application rejected?
FYERS performs mandatory verification of all uploaded documents to comply with SEBI guidelines. If your submission doesn’t meet these requirements, it will be returned for correction.
Our representative will usually contact you via email or call to explain:
- The reason for the rejection
- Which document needs to be fixed
- How to re-upload it properly
Common reasons for rejection
- Blurry, cropped, or unreadable images of PAN, Aadhaar, or bank proof
- Mismatched details (e.g., name or date of birth not matching KYC records)
- Expired ID documents
- Unsupported or outdated proofs (e.g., old bank statements, non-MICR cheques)
Tip: Use a mobile scanning app and ensure all corners of your document are visible. Avoid glare, shadows, or handwritten overlays.
