What is the Market Watch Section in Quick View?
The Market Watch section in Quick View displays a small set of selected market symbols and their current price movements. It is managed independently within Quick View in the FYERS App.
Default Symbols in Market Watch
When Quick View is accessed for the first time, Market Watch shows index symbols by default, such as:
- NIFTY50 Index (NSE)
- SENSEX Index (BSE)
Editing Market Watch Symbols
Market Watch in Quick View supports symbol changes directly within the section. Symbols can be added or removed using the available edit option, and the updated list is reflected only inside Quick View.
These changes do not affect your watchlists in the FYERS App.
Symbols Supported in Market Watch
Market Watch in Quick View supports a maximum of 4 symbols. You can add both indices and stocks within this limit. The symbol limit is fixed and cannot be increased.
What If...
| Scenario | Outcome |
|---|
| Unable to add more symbols | The maximum limit of 4 symbols must be reached |
| Edited symbols are not visible elsewhere | Market Watch in Quick View is managed independently |
| Default indices were removed | They can be added again manually |
