What is the interest rate for Margin Trading Facility (MTF) in FYERS?
If you’re using Margin Trading Facility (MTF), it’s important to understand how interest is charged on your borrowed amount. We apply a slab-wise interest rate based on your total borrowed amount on any given day. This structure ensures transparency and helps you manage your trading costs effectively.
MTF Interest Rate Slabs
We calculate interest daily, even though rates are expressed annually. The applicable rate is determined based on your total borrowed amount for that day:
Total Borrowed Amount (Any Day) | Annual Interest Rate | Daily Interest Rate (approx.) |
---|
Up to ₹1,000 | 0% | 0% |
₹1,000.01 – ₹1,00,000 | 16.49% | 0.0452% |
₹1,00,000.01 – ₹10,00,000 | 15.49% | 0.0424% |
₹10,00,000.01 – ₹25,00,000 | 14.49% | 0.0397% |
₹25,00,000.01 – ₹50,00,000 | 12.49% | 0.0342% |
Note: Only one slab rate applies on any given day based on your total borrowed amount. The rate is not split across slabs.
