What is Options Overview on FYERS and what information does it provide?
Options Overview brings key options-market information together on one dashboard. It helps you track upcoming expiries, market buildups, price movers, Open Interest data, and commonly used options strategies.
Steps to access Options Overview
On FYERS App
- Log in to the FYERS App.
- Stay on the Markets home page.
- Scroll down to the Tools section.
- Tap F&O Dashboard.
- The Options Overview screen opens.
- Select Indices, Commodities, or Stocks.
On FYERS Web
- Log in to FYERS Web.
- Click Options in the top navigation bar.
- Select Overview.
- Choose Indices, Commodities, or Stocks.
| Section | What it shows |
|---|
| Options Expiring Soon | Contracts approaching expiry, along with their price, daily movement, and expiry date. This section is available for Indices and Commodities. |
| Buildups | Changes in price and Open Interest, grouped as Long Buildup, Short Buildup, Short Covering, or Long Unwinding. |
| Gainers and Losers | Symbols showing the highest positive and negative price movements. |
| Open Interest | Call and Put Open Interest across strike prices. |
| OI Change | Changes in Call and Put Open Interest across strike prices. |
| PCR | The Put-Call Ratio for the selected index. |
| Max Pain | Indicates the strike price where option buyers may face the highest combined loss at expiry. It can be used as a possible reference level for expiry analysis. |
| Explore Strategies | Common options strategies based on bullish, bearish, neutral, or any-direction market views. |
Available actions
Depending on the section and symbol, you can open the Option Chain, Chart, Strategy Builder, or Analytics.

| I cannot see Options Expiring Soon under Stocks. | This section is available only under Indices and Commodities. |
| I need more details about a symbol. | Open the available Option Chain, Chart, Strategy Builder, or Analytics option. |
| I want to place an order from Buildups or Gainers and Losers. | These sections do not open a Buy or Sell order window for Commodities or Stocks. Use the relevant trading screen to place an order. |
