What is Market Depth in FYERS and how can I view it?

Market Depth shows the Bid and Ask/Offer prices and quantities available for an instrument. It helps you view the pending buy and sell orders available across different price levels.

Accessing Market Depth

On FYERS App

  1. Tap Watchlist from the bottom menu.
  2. Select the required instrument.
  3. Tap Market Depth on the instrument details screen.
  4. The Market Depth section displays the Bid and Ask/Offer prices, quantities, order counts, and Price Stats.

On FYERS Web

  1. Select the required instrument from the Watchlist.
  2. Open the instrument on the chart.
  3. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) and select Market Depth.
  4. The Market Depth window opens with the Bid and Ask/Offer prices, quantities, order counts, and Price Stats.

On FYERS Trader

  1. Open the required instrument on the chart.
  2. Right-click on the chart.
  3. Select Market Depth.
  4. The Market Depth window opens with the available Bid and Ask/Offer levels.

Market Depth Information

FieldDescription
BidPrices at which buyers are willing to buy the instrument.
Ask/OfferPrices at which sellers are willing to sell the instrument.
QtyQuantity available at a particular Bid or Ask/Offer price.
OrdersNumber of orders available at that price level.

The total Bid and Ask/Offer quantities, along with their respective percentages, are displayed at the bottom of the Market Depth section.

Market Depth

Market Depth displays the top 50 price levels of pending buy (Bid) and sell (Ask/Offer) orders for an instrument. It shows the available quantity and number of orders at each price level.

Price Stats

The Price Stats section provides additional information about the selected instrument, including:

Note: Market Depth is dynamic. The displayed prices, quantities, and number of orders can change as orders are placed, modified, cancelled, or executed.
