Bar Replay begins from a historical candle selected by you. The candles after the selected point remain hidden and are revealed gradually as the replay progresses.
During a replay session, you can:
You can add the technical indicators you normally use before starting Bar Replay. This allows you to practise with the same chart setup and trading context that you use while analysing live markets.
While the replay is running, you can place a simulated Buy or Sell trade with a quantity of your choice. The trade is recorded only within the replay session and is not executed in the live market.
After entering a simulated trade, you can set a stop-loss and target directly on the chart using drag and drop. As the replay progresses, you can observe whether the stop-loss or target is reached and assess how the trade was managed.
The Reverse Position option closes the current simulated position and immediately opens a simulated position in the opposite direction.
For example, reversing a simulated Buy position closes it and opens a simulated Sell position.
At the end of the replay, you can review the overall profit and loss and the list of simulated trades taken during the session. The summary can help you assess your entries, exits, stop-loss placement, targets, and trade-management decisions.
You can restart Bar Replay from the same historical candle to test a different approach. For example, you can change the entry, exit, stop-loss, target, or position direction and compare the outcome under the same historical market conditions.
