What Is a Contract Note, and How Do I Download It on FYERS?

A contract note is the official record of your trades for a specific trading day and segment. It shows every executed trade with a breakup of charges so you can reconcile activity and keep audit-ready records.

What is a contract note?

A contract note is a legally compliant trade confirmation issued for a trading day. If you did not trade on a date, no contract note is generated for that day.

What the contract note contains?

  • Client details such as name, Client ID or UCC, PAN
  • Broker details such as broker name, SEBI registration number, address and contact
  • Trading day and settlement info such as date, exchange, segment, settlement number
  • Trade details per execution such as instrument, side, quantity, price, time
  • Charges including brokerage, platform or clearing, GST, STT or CTT, SEBI, exchange transaction charges, stamp duty
  • Net amount payable or receivable for the day
  • Authentication including digital signature and mandatory declarations
