What happens if an MTF stock changes from EQ to BE after taking a position?

If you have taken an MTF position in a stock and its category later changes from EQ to BE, funding will not be provided for these scripts. This is because MTF is available only for stocks in the EQ category.

Example:

The client takes a position in a stock under MTF while it is in the EQ category. The stock category later changes from EQ to BE or another non-EQ category. FYERS blocks 100% of the required funds in the client’s account. If client wants to sell they can sell the stocks from MTF product type or else client can raise a conversion request for the same.
