What does the Customisation setting do in Scalper Terminal?

The Customisation setting in the FYERS Scalper Terminal allows you to predefine your order preferences—like product type, pricing method, trigger condition, and position sizing—before placing trades. This helps reduce input time and ensures consistency during high-speed trading.

Feature overview

When Customisation is enabled in the Scalper Terminal:

  • Your chosen order parameters are automatically applied each time you place a trade.
  • You don't have to manually enter quantity, price type, or triggers for every order.
  • If Quick Trade is enabled, these preferences are used to place the order instantly.

The setting is only applicable within the Scalper Terminal and does not affect the standard order window.

What you can customise

Once enabled, you can define the following:

  • Product type: Choose between Intraday or Overnight
  • Price type: Select Market (Mkt) or Limit (Lmt)
  • Trigger: Add a trigger condition (in % or absolute terms)
  • Position sizing: Choose quantity by Lot or Amount and define a default size

These values are saved until you change or reset them.

Steps to enable and use the Customisation setting

  • Click the gear icon on the Scalper Terminal screen or access Settings from the top-right dropdown.
  • In the left-hand menu, select Scalper Terminal.
  • Toggle Customisation to ON.
  • Click the row to open settings and define your:
    • Product type
    • Price type
    • Trigger condition
    • Position size (in lot or amount)
  • Click Save to apply. These settings are now used by default whenever a trade is initiated via the Scalper Terminal.
