What Does the Customisation Setting Do in Scalper Terminal?
The Customisation option in the FYERS Scalper Terminal lets you predefine trading preferences for product type, pricing method, trigger, and position sizing so orders follow your defaults. This reduces input time, standardises your flow, and helps avoid mistakes during high-speed trading.
Feature Overview
When Customisation is enabled in the Scalper Terminal:
- Your saved order preferences are applied automatically on each trade.
- Manual inputs for quantity, price type, or triggers are minimised.
- If Quick Trade is also enabled, these values are used instantly when you use shortcuts or click Buy or Sell.
This setting applies only inside the Scalper Terminal and does not change the standard order window.
Options Available Under Customisation
- Product type: Intraday or Overnight
- Price type: Market (Mkt) or Limit (Lmt)
- Trigger: Optional trigger condition in percentage or absolute value
- Position sizing: Default quantity by Lot or Amount
Your values remain saved until you change or reset them.
Tip: Define position sizing thoughtfully by lot or amount to keep order values consistent during fast intraday or scalping trades.
Important: When Quick Trade is ON, your Customisation presets are used immediately. No order window or confirmation is shown.
