What do the different columns in the FYERS Options Chain mean?
Each column in the Options Chain provides a specific insight into market activity, pricing behavior, or trader sentiment. Knowing what these values represent is essential for interpreting data and making informed trading decisions.
Common market data metrics
- LTP (Last Traded Price): Displays the most recent traded price for the option contract.
- Bid / Ask: Shows the best available buy (bid) and sell (ask) prices in the market.
- Volume: Indicates the number of contracts traded during the day.
- OI (Open Interest): Reflects the total number of open contracts not yet settled.
- OI Change: Shows the difference in open interest since the previous trading day.
Option Greeks and volatility measures
- Delta: Measures how much the option price is expected to move for every 1-point move in the underlying asset.
- Gamma: Indicates how much Delta is expected to change as the underlying asset moves.
- Theta: Represents time decay, i.e., how much the option's value reduces each day.
- Vega: Measures how the option price reacts to changes in implied volatility.
- IV (Implied Volatility): Suggests the expected volatility in the price of the underlying asset.
- Max Pain: The price point at which the most options (calls and puts) are expected to expire worthless.
- PCR (Put-Call Ratio): Compares open interest in put options vs. call options to signal market bias.
Adjusting columns using the Custom view

- Select the data points (e.g., IV, Vega, Delta) you want to view
