What Chart Settings Can I Customise in FYERS and How Do They Work?
Charts in FYERS include customisable preferences that help you maintain continuity, context, and cleaner insights while analysing instruments or placing trades. You can access chart preferences from the Settings panel (top-right) or directly from any active chart view.
Feature Overview
- Corporate Actions — Show dividend, bonus, and split events directly on charts.
- Continuous Futures — Combine historical futures contracts into a continuous series for uninterrupted analysis.
- Chart Autosave — Automatically save your last-used indicators, drawings, and timeframes so the chart reopens with the same layout.
- Always-on Chart (App only) — Keep the chart persistently visible while you move across sections of the app.
Each option is optional and can be toggled based on your trading style.
Steps to Manage Chart Preferences
On FYERS App
- Open the FYERS App and log in.
- Tap the Menu (☰) icon → Settings → Charts.
Toggle the options you need:
- Corporate Actions — show/hide corporate event markers.
- Continuous Futures — view futures data as a continuous chart.
- Chart Autosave — preserve indicators, drawings, and timeframes.
- Always-on Chart — keep the chart visible while navigating other sections.
- Changes apply instantly — no Save button required.
On FYERS Web
- Log in to FYERS Web.
- Click your profile icon (top-right) → Settings.
- From the left panel, select Charts.
Toggle the options you need:
- Corporate Actions
- Continuous Futures
- Chart Autosave
- All changes apply instantly.
Keep Chart Autosave enabled if you rely on custom indicators or drawings — it lets you resume analysis exactly where you left off.
