What Are the Scalper Settings on FYERS App?
Scalper settings on the FYERS App let you predefine key order preferences before placing trades from Charts. You can configure product type, stop-loss, target, position sizing, order line display, auto-update quantity, and chart layout for Scalper orders.
How to access Scalper settings
- Open any supported symbol.
- Tap Charts.
- Tap Scalper from the top-right corner.
- Tap the three-dot menu.
- Select Scalper Settings.
Scalper settings overview
- Product Type: Select whether Scalper orders should be placed as Intraday or Overnight trades.
- Intraday: Select this if you want to buy and sell within the same trading day.
- Overnight: Select this if you want to carry the position to the next trading day.
- Stop-Loss: Set a stop-loss as a Percentage or Absolute Value. Once your main order is executed, the configured stop-loss order is placed automatically.
- Target: Set a target as a Percentage or Absolute Value. Once your main order is executed, the configured target order is placed automatically.
- Position Sizing: Choose how the order quantity should be calculated using Amount, Lots, or Margin Percentage.
- Amount: Calculates quantity based on the amount entered.
- Lots: Places the order based on the number of lots entered.
- Margin Percentage: Calculates quantity based on the selected percentage of available funds.
- Order Line on Index: When enabled, the order line for an Options order is shown on both the Index chart and the Options chart for easier tracking.
- Auto-update quantity when price moves: Automatically recalculates the order quantity if the price changes before placing the order.
- Chart Layout: Choose how charts are displayed while using Scalper.
- Single Chart: Displays one chart at a time.
- Dual Chart: Displays both the Spot chart and Options chart together.
After selecting your preferences, tap Apply to save the settings. If you exit without applying the changes, the previously applied Scalper settings will continue to be used.
