At FYERS, API rate limits are based on two plans: Standard and Prime. Each plan has different API usage limits.
Standard is the default plan for all users, including newly registered users, while Prime provides higher limits and access to more API capabilities.
Previously, FYERS applied common limits across all API types
FYERS now applies category-wise rate limits based on the Standard or Prime plan. The primary change is to Data API limits, while Prime also provides higher per-minute and daily limits for Transaction APIs and User Info APIs.
FYERS APIs are grouped into the following three categories:

Transaction APIs and User Info APIs use the following limits. Standard retains the existing limits, while Prime provides higher per-minute and daily limits.

In addition to higher API rate limits, Prime provides higher symbol limits and expanded access to historical and seconds-level market data.

These plan-based symbol limits apply to Data sockets. General sockets are not affected by these symbol limits.
