What Are Heads-Up Messages and How Do I Enable Them in FYERS?

Heads-up messages show short alerts or warnings, such as insufficient funds or market segment closures, before the order window opens. These prompts give you an extra check to continue or cancel before placing a trade. If disabled, the order window opens immediately without these pre-check alerts.

Steps to Enable Order Window Heads-Up Messages

On FYERS App

Open the FYERS App and log in.
Tap the Menu (☰) icon → Settings → Order Window.
Toggle Heads-up messages ON.

On FYERS Web

Log in to https://fyers.in/web.
Click your profile icon at the top right → Settings.
From the left panel, select Order Window.
Toggle Heads-up messages ON.

Steps to Enable Scalper Terminal Heads-Up Messages

Note: The Scalper Terminal is available only on FYERS Web.

Log in to https://fyers.in/web.
Click your profile icon at the top right → Settings.
From the left panel, select Scalper Terminal.
Toggle Heads-up messages ON.

Tip: Keep heads-up messages ON if you want preventive alerts about balance or market conditions, especially during volatile or margin-sensitive trades.

What If...

Scenario	What happens / What to do
Toggle is ON	A caution message appears before the order window opens, for example insufficient funds.
Toggle is OFF	The order window opens directly without a heads-up alert.
Used with Quick Trade	Orders may execute immediately using your presets, and heads-up messages might not appear depending on your Scalper settings. Test with small quantities first.
Settings are reset	The toggle returns to the FYERS default, typically ON.
You face an error or the alerts do not show	Please contact us and we will help resolve it.
