Heads-up messages in FYERS display quick alerts or contextual warnings—such as market segment closures or insufficient funds—before the order window opens. These messages help you decide whether to continue or cancel before proceeding with a trade.
This feature is designed to reduce friction and prevent missed information during order placement. If disabled, the order window opens immediately, skipping these pre-check prompts.

When enabled, heads-up messages serve as:
- Real-time status alerts before order entry
- Preventive checks (e.g., Derivatives segment closed, low balance)
- Optional step before showing the order window
This setting is useful for traders who prefer visibility on market or account conditions before committing to a trade.
Steps to enable heads-up messages
For Order Window
- Click the gear icon or open Settings from the top-right dropdown.
- Select Order Window in the left panel.
- Toggle Heads-up messages to ON.
For Scalper Terminal
- Go to Settings > Scalper Terminal.
- Enable the Heads-up messages toggle.
